Dosage: For adults: 2 puffs (40 mcg) four times daily. Some patients may need up to 4 puffs at a time to obtain maximal benefit during early treatment. Do not exceed 12 puffs in 24 hours. Administration: Before first use, prime the inhaler by releasing two test sprays into the air away from the face. To use, exhale fully, place the mouthpiece into your mouth, and close your lips around it. While inhaling deeply and slowly through your mouth, press down on the canister to release the medication. Hold your breath for 10 seconds or as long as is comfortable, then remove the inhaler and exhale slowly. If a second inhalation is required, wait at least one minute before repeating the steps. Always replace the protective cap after use. Avoid spraying into the eyes.
