Brufen 400 mg tablets are formulated with ibuprofen, an NSAID known for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. They are effective in treating conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other non-rheumatoid arthropathies. Additionally, Brufen is used to alleviate mild to moderate pain, including dysmenorrhea, dental pain, postoperative pain, and headaches, including migraines. Adults and children over 12 years: The recommended dosage is 1200-1800 mg daily (one tablet three to four times a day), divided into multiple doses. Some patients may be maintained on 600-1200 mg daily. In severe or acute conditions, the dosage can be increased, but should not exceed 2400 mg per day. Tablets should be taken orally with water, preferably with or after food, and swallowed whole without chewing, breaking, crushing, or sucking to avoid oral discomfort and throat irritation.
