Brufen Retard 800 mg tablets are formulated with ibuprofen in a sustained-release form, ensuring gradual release of the medication for extended pain relief. They are effective in treating conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis (including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis or Still's disease), ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and other non-rheumatoid (seronegative) arthropathies. Adults and children over 12 years: The usual dosage is two tablets taken as a single daily dose, preferably in the early evening well before retiring to bed. The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of fluid and not chewed, broken, crushed, or sucked to avoid oral discomfort and throat irritation.
