Butalin Solution for Nebulizer 0.5% is formulated with salbutamol, a selective beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the airways, leading to bronchodilation and improved airflow. This solution is intended for use with a nebulizer to deliver the medication directly to the lungs, offering quick relief from symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness associated with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and other obstructive airway diseases. . Adults (including the elderly): 0.5 mL to 1.0 mL of Butalin Solution diluted to a final volume of 2.0 mL to 4.0 mL with sterile normal saline. Administer the diluted solution via nebulizer up to four times daily. In hospital settings, doses up to 40 mg per day may be given under strict medical supervision. Children under 12 years: 0.5 mL of Butalin Solution diluted to 2.0 mL to 4.0 mL with sterile normal saline. Some children may require higher doses, up to 1.0 mL, as determined by a physician. Intermittent treatment may be repeated up to four times daily. The solution should be used with a suitable nebulizer device under the direction of a physician. It must not be injected or ingested.
