Butalin Inhaler contains salbutamol, a bronchodilator that quickly alleviates symptoms like wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath associated with asthma and COPD. Each inhalation delivers 100 mcg of salbutamol sulfate, with the inhaler providing up to 200 metered doses. Salbutamol works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, making breathing easier during acute episodes and preventing exercise-induced bronchospasm. . Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: For relief of acute symptoms, take 1 to 2 inhalations as needed, up to four times daily. To prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm, take 2 inhalations 10-15 minutes before exercise. Children aged 4 to 11 years: For relief of acute symptoms, take 1 inhalation as needed, which may be increased to 2 if necessary, up to four times daily. To prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm, take 1 inhalation 10-15 minutes before exercise, which may be increased to 2 if necessary. Do not exceed 8 inhalations in 24 hours. ​
