Apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste to a soft-bristled toothbrush. Brush teeth and gums gently in circular motions for about 2 minutes, twice daily, preferably after meals. Ensure the child spits out the toothpaste after brushing and rinses their mouth thoroughly with water.
