Duotrav Eye Drops are a combination of two active ingredients: travoprost (0.004%) and timolol maleate (0.5%). Travoprost is a prostaglandin analogue that increases the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye, thereby reducing intraocular pressure. Timolol is a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker that decreases the production of aqueous humor. Together, they effectively lower elevated intraocular pressure in conditions like open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
