Endometrin is a vaginal insert designed to deliver progesterone directly to the uterine lining, which is crucial for preparing and maintaining the endometrium for embryo implantation and sustaining early pregnancy. Each tablet contains 100 mg of micronized progesterone and is formulated to dissolve quickly upon insertion. The use of Endometrin is indicated for women undergoing Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatments, such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), who require additional progesterone support. The product comes with disposable applicators to ensure proper placement of the tablet within the vagina, enhancing comfort and ease of use. Insert one 100 mg vaginal tablet into the vagina two or three times daily, as directed by your healthcare provider, starting after oocyte (egg) retrieval and continuing for up to 10 weeks. To administer, wash your hands thoroughly and unwrap the applicator and tablet. Place the tablet into the applicator's designated space. While in a comfortable position (standing, sitting, or lying down with knees bent), gently insert the applicator into the vagina. Push the plunger to release the tablet, then remove and dispose of the applicator. Do not use other vaginal products concurrently unless advised by your doctor.
