Fastum Gel 2.5% contains ketoprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that penetrates the skin to provide targeted relief from pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions. It is commonly used for the local treatment of rheumatic or traumatic pain in the osteoarticular and muscular system, including contusions, distortions, sprains, muscle strains, stiff neck, and lumbago. For adults and children over 12 years: Apply a thin layer of Fastum Gel to the affected area once or twice daily. Gently massage the gel into the skin to aid absorption. The amount applied should correspond to the size of the affected area; typically, 5 to 15 cm of gel is sufficient per application. Do not exceed the recommended duration of treatment without consulting a healthcare professional. Wash hands thoroughly after each application. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or UV rays on treated areas during treatment and for two weeks after discontinuation to prevent photosensitivity reactions.
