Feldene contains piroxicam, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that provides relief from pain and inflammation. It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Piroxicam works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body responsible for inflammation and pain.
