Mirvaso Gel contains brimonidine tartrate, an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that works by constricting dilated blood vessels in the face, thereby reducing redness. It is specifically formulated for adults experiencing persistent (non-transient) facial erythema due to rosacea. The gel is applied once daily and provides visible reduction in redness within a few hours of application. It is for external use only and should not be applied to eyes, mouth, or other mucous membranes. ​. Apply a pea-sized amount of Mirvaso Gel once daily to each of the five areas of the face: central forehead, chin, nose, and each cheek. Smoothly and evenly spread the gel as a thin layer across the entire face, avoiding the eyes, eyelids, lips, mouth, and inside of the nostrils. Wash hands immediately after application. Do not exceed the recommended dose. ​Patient.
