Nurtec® ODT is a calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonist indicated for the acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura and the preventive treatment of episodic migraine in adults. It is not known if Nurtec ODT is safe and effective in children. . For acute treatment: Take one 75 mg tablet orally as needed; do not exceed one tablet in 24 hours. For preventive treatment: Take one 75 mg tablet every other day. Do not exceed 18 doses in a 30-day period. Use dry hands to open the blister pack and place the tablet on or under the tongue to dissolve; do not push the tablet through the foil.
