Simbrinza Eye Drops 5 ml are a prescription combination medicine used to reduce high intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Each ml of the suspension contains 10 mg of brinzolamide (a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor) and 2 mg of brimonidine tartrate (an alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist). Together, they decrease the production of fluid within the eye and increase drainage, helping lower pressure and prevent vision loss. Simbrinza is preservative-containing (benzalkonium chloride) and should be used exactly as directed by your eye doctor. Shake the bottle well before each use and avoid contact between the dropper tip and eye or surfaces. .
