URITAB XL 10MG is an extended-release tablet designed to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. This helps reduce frequent urination, painful urination, and urinary urgency. The active ingredient, Alfuzosin, is a selective alpha-1 blocker that targets the lower urinary tract. It is well tolerated and suitable for long-term use. The tablet should be taken once daily after the same meal each day. It should be swallowed whole without chewing or crushing. This medication is not intended for use in women or children. .
