Xolamol Ophthalmic Solution is a sterile eye drop formulation containing two active ingredients: dorzolamide hydrochloride, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, and timolol maleate, a beta-adrenergic receptor blocker. This combination works synergistically to decrease aqueous humor production, thereby lowering intraocular pressure (IOP). Xolamol is indicated for patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who are insufficiently responsive to beta-blocker monotherapy. The solution is clear, colorless, slightly viscous, and free from particulate matter. It is supplied in a 5 mL LDPE bottle with a dropper tip for easy administration. .
